Twenty-two prison officers from four southern States are taking part in a three-day workshop on lifestyle management.
In order to reach out to prison officers to help them manage workplace stress, the Academy of Prisons and Correctional Administration (APCA) launched the training programme on lifestyle management in January. This was in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration, Auxilium College.
The prison officers in the ranks of assistant jailors, deputy jailors and assistant superintendents from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are participating in the workshop that commenced on Monday.
Sessions on relationship management, personality management, parenting skills, spiritual management, health management, nutrition management, emotional management and stress management would be conducted during the workshop.
