The last date for applying to counselling in government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) in Tiruvannamalai district is extended. Interested students may apply online till June 30.
All the seats in government ITIs and 50 per cent of seats in private ITIs are to be filled through counselling according to marks and communal roaster.
For joining the two-year courses, the requisite educational qualification was SSLC pass, and for one-year courses, a pass in class VIII is enough. Those who crossed 14 years of age may apply for joining the courses in the ITIs.
Earlier, it was said that interested students might apply on skilltraining.tn.gov.in until June 20.
Now the date has been extended till June 30 and candidates may apply on the same website, a release from Collector A. Gnanasekaran said.
The Collector called upon the tribal youths to apply for courses in Jamunamarathur Government ITI.
