An employment mela and college day celebrations of NIFT TEA College of Knitwear Fashion was held recently.
Placements
A total of 118 students who completed undergraduate and post graduate courses from the institution got placements in various apparel production units during the job mela held.
In another event, the Jay Shriram Group of Institutions, Avinashipalayam, celebrated its annual day recently. Cultural programme were held and medals were distributed to students who excelled both in academics and extra curricular activities.
Conference
The Government Arts College, Udumalpet, conducted a conference on 'Advanced networking and applications' recently. Resources persons from different areas talked of possible research areas in the future and also on technologies like 5 G and wireles communication.
