A Hindu Munnani functionary, who received a threat letter recently, has approached the Superintendent of Police in Vellore seeking action on his complaint.
Adhimohan, Vellore city coordinator of Hindu Munnani, received the threat letter by post on May 16. He lodged a complaint with the Vellore North Police and the police issued a Community Service Register. On Monday, he submitted a letter seeking action on his complaint.
K. Magesh, Vellore zonal president of Hindu Munnani, said they wanted the police to file a FIR in the case. Police said as it was an anonymous letter, they issued a CSR and were conducting an inquiry.
