Five Bengaluru men arrested for robbery

Five men from Bengaluru were arrested by Bagalur police for Sunday’s attack and robbery of Rs.14 lakh from two poultry supervisors.

The arrested were Syed(25), Afzal Khan (23), Tanveer Ahmed (36), Imran Shekih (28), and Tabareesh Khan (26). The incident occurred when the supervisors in a poultry farm at Sharjahpur were returning after collecting payment from a farm in Hosur.

The accused had sprinkled chilli powder on the two men and robbed them of Rs.14 lakh.

According to police sources, the accused also run a poultry shop at Shivaji Nagar in Bengaluru.

On Sunday, the men were also at the farm where the employees’ Vinay and Nagesh were collecting their payment. The accused attacked them along Bagalur road.

Four men were initially secured on Wednesday for interrogation. Bagalur police registered a case and arrest of five men, who were later remanded.
