Folk musicians Lail Arad and JF Robitaille are on a concert tour of South India as part of the 13th edition of The Hindu November Fest.

Indie folk musicians Lail Arad (UK) and JF Robitaille (Canada) will recreate the free-wheeling vibes of the club scene of the New York of the sixties at back-to-back concerts in the city.

The singer-songwriter duo take the stage at the Krtashraya, Aurodhan Gardens in Vaithikuppam at an 8 p.m. show on Tuesday.

On Thursday, they perform at Adishakti Theatre, Edayanchavady Road near Auroville, at 7 p.m.

The duo is on a concert tour of South India as part of the 13th edition of The Hindu November Fest.

Songs of music heroes

The set-list will feature songs of their music heroes such as Bob Dylan, Lou Reed, S&G and Leonard Cohen as well as the duo’s original compositions.

The ‘Tower of Song’ concerts are open to the public.
