Discussions on counting process held

Chief Electoral Officer Praveen Kumar on Sunday held discussions with political parties on the process to be followed when counting the votes for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections is taken up on May 13.

Mr. Kumar said later that the counting would start as per schedule at 8 a.m. and results would be announced round-wise.

Representatives of major political parties attended the meeting. They were apprised of the procedure to be followed during counting and the rules that they would have to abide by.
