Cases were filed against two AIADMK party functionaries on the charges of violating election model code of conduct on Friday.
A case was filed against AIADMK area secretary Mohan on the charge of distributing tokens to women for taking part in an election campaign by actor Anand Raj for Dindigul candidate C. Seenivasan (AIADMK). The participants will get cash on production of the token to partymen, the officials added. Another case was filed against AIADMK Reddiyarchatram union secretary Rajmohan on the charge of distributing cash to women who presented ‘arathi’ to Athoor AIADMK candidate R. Viswanathan while he was campaigning in Reddiyarchatram on Thursday evening.
