The police have filed a case against 10 persons for conducting bull chasing in Shoolagiri.

An unauthorised bull chasing event was conducted by the locals as part of the festivities in Dharmaraja temple at T.Kothapalli in Sanamavu on Friday.

Vehicles damaged

Following this, the police rushed to the spot and warned the locals to disperse. However, the public refused to heed to the police, and a few hurled stones on the police vehicles, damaging them.

Two persons were arrested for damaging Government property and a case was filed against 10 village heads for conducting the event without permission.
