BSNL introduces 3G service in Sankarankoil area

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has introduced 3G services in Sankarankoil Area. An official statement said BSNL’s 3G service is now available in Sankarankoil Urban area, Puliangudi, Chinthamani, Sivagiri, Sernthamaram, Thiruvengadam, Vasudevanallur and Panavadalichatram.

BSNL is offering data booster / rate-cutter at the lowest price. 20 MB data with validity of 1 day is available for Rs. 4, 250 MB data with validity of 21 days is for Rs. 56, 1 GB data with validity of 1 day is for Rs. 68, 1 GB data with validity of 15 days is for Rs. 155 and 3 GB data with validity of 60 days is available for Rs. 444.

Moreover, the BSNL also offers broadband with higher bandwidth up to 24 Mbps using VDSL technology to customers. This is more suitable for data uploading customers like CCTV users, studios, TV channel network, IT companies, hospitals etc. Unlimited plans for Rs. 1,745, Rs. 2,845, Rs. 3,445 for bandwidth 8 / 16 / 24 Mbps respectively are available.

One free Static IP address and 1,000 free calls to BSNL network per month are also given. VDSL service is now available in Tirunelveli, Palayamkottai, Kalakad, Puliangudi, Ambasamudram, Vickramasingapuram, Sankarankoil, Karivalamvanthanallur, Alangulam, Pavoorchathram, Surandai, Tenkasi, Anu Vijay Township, Thisayanvailai, Uvari and Vadakkankulam areas.

BSNL is launching new data booster sharing facility, under which pre-paid mobile customers of BSNL can form a group consisting minimum 2 and maximum 5 members including the leader. The leader can create the group and subscribe for the data booster through the web portal www.bsnlzprepaid.com.

All the members can share the data booster subscribed by the leader. The individual data booster / rate-cutter of the members will be used first and on exhausting of the individual data booster / rate-cutter, the sharing booster will be used, the statement said.
