DINDIGUL

A nine-year old boy, M. Ganesh, died of viral fever at Seelapadi on the outskirts of Dindigul.

The parents of the boy said he was treated for viral fever at Dindigul Government Hospital for five days and discharged on Monday. He went to school on the same day.

In the evening, he developed fever again and took some tablets. But he did not wake up on Tuesday morning. When his parents took him to the government hospital, doctors told them that the boy had died on Monday night itself.
