Bal Bhavan to organise summer camp

The Bangalore Bal Bhavan Society will organise a month-long summer camp — Ranga Ruchi.

The camp would be held between April 12 and May 10. Several eminent artists will be conducting workshops. The camp at the Bal Bhavan in Cubbon Park is for children aged between 8 and 16.

Four segments

Bhavana Ramanna, chairperson of State Bal Bhavan Society, said that the summer camp would consist of four different segments, including poetry, stories, folklore and contemporary dance and plays.

The entry fee is Rs. 250. However, there is no fee for children from underprivileged backgrounds. The mini-Bal Bhavans at Rajajinagar, Jayanagar and Coles Park will conduct a camp for children aged between five and seven.
