Appeal to regulate water supply

The Tamil Nadu Muslim Munnetra Kazhagam appealed to the Corporation to ensure regular and adequate supply of drinking water in the Muslim-dominant Melapalayam area during the forthcoming Ramzan fasting.

They submitted a petition to Commissioner R. Lakshmi during the grievance day meet on Tuesday.

They also demanded the cleaning of drainage channel near Masjid Takwa.

A group of residents from Melapalayam Thaai Nagar submitted a petition seeking the repairing of the road connecting the weekly market and the Nagercoil highway as this stretch is in bad shape.
