AIR feature on Saraswathi Mahal Library

The All India Radio, Tiruchi, has recently launched a serial feature on 'Tharani Potrum Thanjai Saraswathi Mahal Library’ on its primary channel (936 KHz). The serial describing rare aspects of the library is being broadcast at 7 a.m. on every Wednesday as part of its `Kaveri Poongatru’ programme.

In the second episode scheduled for broadcast at 7 a.m. on Oct.14, Thanjavur Collector M.S.Shanmugham speaks on the inception, phases of development, management and facilities available in the library, according to a communication received from the Station Director of AIR here on Tuesday.
