AIADMK polls put off

Chief Minister and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam general secretary Jayalalithaa on Sunday announced the postponement of organisational polls for 2013. In a statement, she said that as a large number of party members/aspirants submitted their forms for renewal of membership or admission into the party, the process of printing cards was in progress. On completion of the process, the election of the party general secretary would be conducted and subsequently, polls for other posts would be held, she added.
