AIADMK general secretary Jayalalithaa on Saturday visited the party headquarters and hoisted the party flag on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the founding day of the party. After garlanding the statue of M.G.Ramachandran, the founder of the party, she released a souvenir to mark the occasion. The first copy was received by the party's minority wing secretary A. Anwar Raja.

Ms. Jayalalithaa also launched a free traffic accident policy for 16,315 drivers, who are members of the party's unorganised drivers wing. Senior leaders, party MPs and MLAs were present.
