Transport Minister K.N. Nehru said a decision on introducing more buses during school hours would be taken after the expert team from Anna University submitted its report.
Replying to VCK member Ravikumar who complained that students could not reach schools in time because of lack of adequate buses, the Minister said the government had already introduced 50 buses in Chennai.
“The government has asked Anna University to make a detailed study about the requirement. Once we receive it, bus facilities will be expanded during the school hours,” he said.
