6 PMK cadre held on charges of murdering Tasmac salesman

Six cadres of Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) were arrested on charges of murdering T. Selvam (40), a salesman at Tasmac liquor outlet in Pudupalayam in Attur. Selvam died of suffocation after a gang hurled petrol-filled bottle at the shop on August 5.  On Tuesday, T. Muthusamy (38) and M. Ramachandran (23), both from Vilaripalayam village surrendered before the VAO. They were handed over to the Vazhapadi police. Inquiries revealed that they, along with five others, went to the shop in motorcycles and hurled petrol bomb.
