A massive combing operation was launched this morning to flush out militants in a village in Sopore district after gun shots were heard in the area.
Warpora Sopore, 55 kms from here, was sealed by police and security forces after firing in the village.
Sopore has witnessed a sudden spurt in militant violence in the past one month with attacks on policemen and militants lobbing grenades and planting IEDs.
