Sonia Gandhi discharged from hospital

Congress president Sonia Gandhi was on Tuesday discharged from a hospital in Delhi after recovering from a respiratory tract infection.

“Her condition at the time of discharge is stable. She has been advised rest and to continue her medications,” said Dr. D.S. Rana, chairman of board of management at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.

Ms. Gandhi was admitted to the hospital on Thursday evening with lower respiratory tract infection and some breathing difficulty.
