Singapore doctor testifies in Delhi gang rape case

A doctor with Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore, who conducted post-mortem on the 23-year-old victim of the December 16 gang rape in Delhi, testified as a prosecution witness through video-conferencing in a court here on Monday.

Additional Sessions Judge Yogesh Khanna recorded the statement of Dr. Paul Chui, a senior forensic pathology consultant. The examination concluded after he was cross-examined by counsel for five accused.

Another doctor from the same hospital is expected to testify on Tuesday. The girl was airlifted to Singapore on December 27 and she passed away on December 29.
