The CBI on Wednesday moved an application before the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB), seeking fingerprints of the juvenile accused in the murder of his junior on the Ryan International School Bhondsi campus.
As his judicial custody ended on Wednesday, the JJB extended it till December 6.
The JJB has forwarded the CBI's application for fingerprints to the Observation Home, where he is now lodged and asked his counsel to file a reply.
The CBI has also filed a reply to the application moved by the boy's father, accusing the investigating agency of questioning him beyond the 6 p.m deadline.
The JJB has fixed the hearing on both matters on November 29.
Counsel Sandeep Aneja said the CBI had filed a vague reply to their allegation of not sticking to the time limit, saying the time limit was strictly adhered to.
Victim's father's plea pending
Besides, the application of the victim's father. Barun Thakur, moved through counsel Sushil Tekriwal, seeking trial of the juvenile accused as an adult, has been kept pending.
