More than 500 resident doctors at the civil hospital here ended their strike after the authorities accepted their demand of providing protection to them while on duty.
On Sunday, the doctors went on strike after a woman doctor was assaulted by relatives and family members of a 64-year-old man who died during treatment in the hospital.
