Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday paid a visit to his sister on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Mr. Kejriwal arrived at Haridwar railway station by Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express at 11 a.m. where he was given a guard of honour.

However, the Chief Minister returned the vehicle provided by the district administration and went to his sister’s house in his brother-in-law’s car.

Mr. Kejriwal’s sister, who is a doctor in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), Haridwar, tied a rakhi on his wrist only after 2 p.m. as it was not propitious to do so in the morning hours due to Bhadrakal.

Talking to presspersons, Mr. Kejriwal described his visit as personal and offered his greetings to the people on the occasion.
