The charge sheet in the Chandrabose murder case was filed at the Kunnamkulam court on Saturday.

The charge sheet, with 1,500 pages, has 43 evidences and 111 witnesses.

The witness list includes Amal, wife of the controversial businessman Mohammed Nisham.

It contains forensic test results, witnesses’ statements, and investigation reports.

Evidence

The police have collected bloodstains from the spot of attack, car, shoes, and clothes used by Nisham.

The charge sheet was prepared by a 15-member team, including special prosecutor Udayabhanu, City Police Commissioner Nishanthini, and Peramangalam Circle Inspector P.C. Bijukumar.

Nisham, owner of Kings Group of Companies, hit Chandrabose, 49, a security guard at an apartment complex at Puzhakkal, with his jeep alleging delay in opening the gate for him.

According to the police, Nisham dragged the injured security guard to the jeep and thrashed him again in the parking area as he pleaded for life. Though the critically injured security guard was hospitalised, he succumbed to injuries after three weeks.

Allegations

The case drew attention as there were allegations of attempts to protect Nisham by top police officers and political leaders.
