Nod for three road projects

The Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure on Thursday sanctioned three road projects at an estimated cost of Rs. 2973.38 crore.

The approval was given for the two-laning and four-laning of the 163.5 km stretch of the Ranchi-Argaon-Jamshedpur section of National Highway 33 in Jharkhand at an estimated cost of Rs. 1011 crore.

The other two projects are in Gujarat. They are: four-laning and six-laning of the 71.4-km length of the Gandhidham-Mundra Port section of NH 8A at an estimated cost of Rs. 953.88 crore and the four-laning of the 117-km stretch of the Ahmedabad-Godhra section of NH 59 at an estimated cost of Rs. 1008.50 crore.
