The Bangalore police have so far not come across any link between People's Democratic Party chairman Abdul Nasir Maudany and the twin blasts near the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium here just ahead of an Indian Premier League cricket match on April 17 this year.

Talking to reporters on Wednesday, City Police Commissioner Shankar M. Bidari said: “The PDP leader is one of the accused in the 2008 serial blasts case in Bangalore.

However, so far we have not found his involvement in the blasts that rocked the stadium in April.”
