A number of political leaders arrived at the Brar Square to pay tributes to the Marshal of the Indian Air Force, Arjan Singh. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, veteran BJP leader L.K. Advani and Union Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman were among the attendees.

Chiefs of the three armed forces also arrived at the venue and laid wreaths on the mortal remains of the sole marshal of the Air Forces.

Arjan Singh breathed his last on Saturday. He was admitted to Army’s Research and Referral Hospital on Saturday morning after he suffered a cardiac arrest. While entire nation is mourning the sad demise of Arjan Singh, the National Flag will fly half-mast on account of the same.
