BJP’s Prime Minister Candidate Narendra Modi will be visiting Kerala on September 26.

He will attend the 60th birthday celebrations of Mata Amarathanandamayi at Amritapuri near Kollam.

In greeting message to Malayalis on the occasion of Onam, Mr. Modi said that he was looking forward to being in Kerala.

Mr. Modi said that Onam is a festival of prosperity, unity, virtue and truthfulness. Describing Onam as an occasion to remember the golden age of benevolent King Mahabali, he said the festival gave a message to recreate those days of prosperity and unity.

He pointed that the Malayali community had travelled to various parts of the world and made a mark through their hard work and intelligence. “Yet, irrespective of hardships in life, the community never forgets to celebrate Thiruvronam in the month of Chingam with family.”
