Conducted by the Indian Meteorological Society and the Uttarakhand Space Application Centre, the seminar is expected to be a platform for exchange of views and scientific data and encourage interest in mountain meteorology, Anand Sharma, Director of State Meteorological Centre and Secretary of the Indian Meteorological Society, Dehra Dun Chapter, said on Friday.
A highlight of the seminar will be the participation of eminent international scientists such as Dr. Krishnamurthy (U.S.A.), Dr. Jagdish Shukla (U.S.A.), Dr. Kamal Puri (Australia) and Dale Barker (U.K. Met Office).
