One person was killed and another injured when a speeding KSRTC bus hit a two-wheeler in Kodimatha near the outskirts of the town on Wednesday morning.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Jiby Anil (29) of Ezhumayil House in Channanickad, Kottayam. Her husband Anil Abraham, who was riding the two-wheeler, escaped with minor injuries. The victim is also survived by 2 sons.
The incident occurred at around 8:30 a.m. The KSRTC bus was on its way to Kattapana from Thiruvananthapuram.
The deceased was an employee of a private firm in Kodimatha.
