Bodies of a 55-year-old woman and her 30-year-old son were found hanging in their house at Vallachira, near here, on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Puthan Parambil Ramani and Prasanth. They were residents of Mumbai.
Prashant’s wife had committed suicide a few days ago in Mumbai.
In her suicide note, she alleged that she was ending her life due to mental torture from her family.
Case registered
On the basis of her suicide note, the Mumbai police had registered a case against Ramani and Prasanth.
Both of them reached Vallachira a few days ago.
When Ramani’s daughter called them on Thursday nobody picked up the phone. On her request, neighbours searched the house and found both hanging from the roof.
The Cherpu police are investigating.
