Trains cancelled

Railways have cancelled some long-distance express trains owing to the floods in the North Frontier Railway.

Train 12508 Guwahati-Thiruvananthapuram Central Express, scheduled to leave Guwahati at 6.20 a.m. on September 15, has been cancelled. The other trains cancelled are 15906 Dibrugarh-Kanyakumari Vivek Express on September 9 and 16 and 12516 Guwahati-Thiruvanantha- puram Central Express on September 13.

Thiruvananthapuram Central-Guwahati Express (12515), scheduled to leave the capital at 12.40 noon on September 10, and 12507 Thiruvanantha- puram Central-Guwahati Express, scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 5 p.m. on September 12 have been cancelled.

Railways will run 06906 Kanyakumari-Santragachi special fare special train from Santragachi at 11.15 a.m. on September 11 to clear the rush.
