State students win honours at Kala Utsav

Biggest arts fete for schoolchildren that focusses on local art forms

Schools representing Rashtriya Madhyamik Shikha Abhiyan (RMSA), Kerala, have done the State proud in Kala Utsav, a national-level festival of art, held in Bhopal recently. The festival, organised by the Union Ministry of Human Resource Development for nurturing local arts, was held at the Regional Institute of Education in Bhopal from January 3 to 5.

Kadambur Higher Secondary School, Kannur, bagged the first position in dance and Government Higher Secondary School, Manjeri, secured the second position in music.

In music, the Manjeri school team presented Thottampaatu to bag the second position.
