Refresher training programme from today

A three-month refresher training programme, organised by the Directorate of Entrepreneurship, Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) in association with the Animal Husbandry Department, for assistant directors of the department will begin at the Periyar auditorium of the varsity at Pookode on Monday. Director of the department V. Brahmanandan will inaugurate the programme at 9.30 a.m. on the day. Joseph Mathew, Registrar, KVASU, will preside and T.P. Sethumadhavan, Director of Entrepreneurship, KVASU, will deliver the keynote address.

The programme envisages updating the trends in livestock sector, including advanced technologies in breeding, feeding, management, disease control, entrepreneurship, and marketing.
