Poopoli from January 1

International flower show and agri-fest

The fifth edition of Poopoli, an international flower show and agri-fest organised jointly by the Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) and the Department of Agriculture Development and Farmers’ Welfare, will be held at the Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS) of the university at Ambalavayal in the district from January 1 to January 18.

Minister for Agriculture V.S. Sunil Kumar will inaugurate the festival at 10 a.m. on January 1. “The exhibition will showcase modern technologies in floriculture and horticulture, facilitating knowledge-sharing among entrepreneurs, scientists, and international experts,” said P. Rajendran, associate director of research, RARS, Ambalavayal.
