Suzlon Energy Limited, Pune, which had put up windmills at Attappady, in a statement here on Wednesday, said it had not received any official communication from the State government on returning some land in its possession and two windmills there to the local tribal people.

The statement said: “We have not yet received any official communication from the State government, and presently we are not in a position to comment on the issue.

However, we are sure that we would be given a fair hearing in the matter more so as a related matter is pending before the High Court of Kerala.

We have immense faith in the law of the land and we have been abiding in all our projects since our inception.”
