The repair work of the remotely operated underwater vehicle used for conducting the survey of the century-old Mullaperiyar dam was completed on Wednesday.
A top official of the Water Resources Department said the survey was likely to begin on Thursday as it was expected to be completed soon in view of the rains. The vehicle developed a technical snag in the initial period of the survey.
