The Kannur Milma Dairy plant here bagged the State Pollution Control Board’s award for 2015-16 for the best pollution control activities.
A press release issued by Dairy Manager K.C. James here on Sunday said that the plant was receiving the board’s first prize for the sixth year in succession. The selection for the award was made by a high power expert panel of the State government through periodical examinations. The award comprising cash component of Rs. 1 lakh and citation was presented to Mr. James by P.K. Sreemathy, MP, at a function here on Sunday.
