Electricity Minster Aryadan Mohammed said here on Thursday that withdrawal of night-time load-shedding in the State would be considered in two days.
The Minister was briefing the media, along with Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, on the deliberations of a special Cabinet meeting.
Mr. Mohammed said daytime load-shedding had already been withdrawn. Conditions were favourable for withdrawal of night-time load-shedding because of a good monsoon so far.
The Chief Minister said an all-party meeting would be convened on June 25 to discuss issues connected with the drawing of power line between Edamon and Kochi to transmit power from the Kudankulam project and the Kochi- Kayalamkulam gas pipeline project to be implemented by GAIL.
Mr. Chandy said he and Mr. Mohammed proposed to meet the Karnataka Chief Minister in Bangalore to sort out certain issues connected with drawing of power line between Mysore and Areecode. There were some objections to the project from the Coorg area.
