BJP State unit president Kummanam Rajasekharan has filed a writ petition seeking a directive to the State government to implement the recommendations of the special officer for taking over the land and assets of Harrisons Malayalam Limited

In the petition filed on Friday, Mr. Rajasekharan said the special officer had recommended the government to get a probe conducted by the CBI or Enforcement Directorate as the activities of the company were affecting the territorial integrity of the country.

Mr. Rajasekharan said the special officer had found that the company had defrauded the nation. Even the court had granted permission to proceed against the company. He alleged that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan was refusing to take action on the recommendations of the report.

The inaction of the Chief Minister was “shocking” as the special officer had categorically pointed out that the company was posing a threat to the territorial integrity of the country.
