Kodumon Pooram celebrated

March 29, 2011 08:18 pm | Updated 08:18 pm IST - PATHANAMTHITTA:

The ceremonial Pooram, marking the culmination of the annual festival at the Vaikuntapuram temple at Kodumon near here, was celebrated with religious fervour on Tuesday.

The Arat ceremony was held in the afternoon followed by the Pooram display.

The downpour in the afternoon delayed the Pooram by two hours.

Hundreds of people assembled at the panchayat stadium to witness the annual Pooram, braving the heavy summer showers.
