KGMOA meet to discuss public health challenges

The 48th State conference of the Kerala Government Medical Officers’ Association (KGMOA) will be held at the Hill District Club Auditorium at Kolagappara, near Sulthan Bathery, in the district on January 24 and 25.

Programme general convener P.K. Anilkumar and seminar committee chairman M. Santhoshkumar told a press conference here on Saturday that the two-day conference would discuss various ‘challenges being faced by the public health sector of the State.’ The meet would suggest remedies to tackle the issues effectively.’

Cultural programmes and a public meeting would be held in connection with the conference, they said.

Satellite seminars on ‘Public health sector in Wayanad: possibilities and challenges’ will be held at Trisome Hall, Mananthavady; Taluk Hospital Auditorium, Sulthan Bathery; and General Hospital conference hall, Kalpetta; on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday respectively, they added.
