A Keralite was found dead in his car in Rome on Wednesday night, according to information reaching here. The deceased was identified as Sabu Kurien, 44, of Chirakkarayil House, Uzhavoor.

Self-employed, Kurien was staying with his wife and younger son in Rome.

Speaking to The Hindu , his brother-in-law said Kurien had gone to the market with a friend after putting the child in a day care centre yesterday. His wife had gone for work.

On their return, he and his friend parked the car near a public ground near their home. Kurien remained in the car to meet a relative as he had made purchases for him too.

His wife, failing to find him at home, enquired with Kurien’s relatives and friends staying in the city. They found him in the parked car. He leaves behind his wife and two children.
