INA gets ready for passing-out parade

As many as 347 Naval cadets, including a cadet from Tanzanian Navy, will pass out from the Indian Naval Academy (INA) at Ezhimala here on November 26.

Informing this in a press release here, the INA said that the cadets passing out after completion of their training included those undergoing various courses in the Autumn Term 2016 including the 91st INA Course (B.Tech), the 91st INA Course (MSc.), the 22nd Naval Orientation Course (Extended) and the 23rd Naval Orientation Course (Regular). The cadets passing out on Saturday also include 26 women cadets — 21 cadets joining the Indian Navy and five joining the Indian Coast Guard.

The release said Vice Admiral A.R. Karve, Flag Officer Commanding – in – Chief, Southern Naval Command would review the passing-out parade. It would be witnessed by parents and guardians of the cadets and dignitaries. Sainik school cadets, National Cadet Corps cadets, and students and teachers of schools and colleges were invited to witness the parade during the Commandant’s review on Wednesday and also for the final passing-out parade on Saturday.
