Implement Sabari rail project: CPI(M)

January 08, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 12:54 pm IST - PATHANAMTHITTA:

The CPI(M) has called upon the Central and the State governments to stop the negligent attitude towards the Sabari rail project.

In a resolution adopted at its district meeting at Ranni on Wednesday, the CPI(M) demanded stop for all trains at Thiruvalla which is the only railway station in the district.

It alleged that the Railways had been ignoring the development of the Thiruvalla railway station and the State government had failed to exert pressure on the Centre in obtaining the State’s due share, the resolution said.
