Despite voting falling on wedding day, couples exercise their franchise

Naveen Menon and Deepthi from Kolazhy went directly to the pooling booth after their wedding ceremony at Vadakurumbakavu Temple, Tirur, on Monday.

Naveen and Deepthi reached a polling booth at Chinmaya college, Kolazhy, with their relatives. Both of them voted at the same booth.

Archana of Thiruvalwamala cast her vote before the wedding ceremony. She reached the Mandapam at Sree Vilwadrinatha Temple, Thiruvilwamala, after exercising her franchise. The bridegroom Suresh Kumar cast his vote after wedding.
