The CEE-allotted students as cited above are exempted from paying liquidated damages.

However, if a candidate discontinues within three days of the closing of admission he will have to pay liquidated damages subject to the decision of the FRC.

If such vacant seats are filled no damages will accrue.

No college shall retain the certificates/ documents of discontinued candidates. The college shall get a bond executed by the candidate and his father/ mother undertaking to pay the amount that will be ordered by the FRC or a court of law and release the documents.

Bank guarantee

Sufficient time should be given to candidates for production of bank guarantee. Admission should not be denied to a candidate without the permission of the ASC, the directives said.

The counselling details and draft admission list should be instantaneously published for the information of all concerned.

Vacant seats available for any reason, including non-joining vacancies, should be notified and admission should be done from the wait-listed candidates.

The agreement of the college with the government of Kerala should be published on the website of the college and be retained throughout the admission process.

Each medical/ dental college should submit its prospectus for prior approval by the ASC/FRC before the commencement of the admission process, the directive said.
