Engineering admission to be completed by July

The admission procedures to the engineering courses in the State will be completed by July 30 as per the directive of the Supreme Court.

Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, B. S. Mavoji said the candidates who have qualified for the engineering entrance examination will have to submit the marks obtained by them in the final year of the qualifying examination to prepare the engineering rank list 2013.

The marks can be submitted online for engineering courses from May 24 and for B.Arch courses from May 25. The category and community-wise list will also be published in due course after publishing the rank-list.

As per the notification issued by the Commissioner on publishing the scores on Thursday, separate notification for centralised allotment process for allotment to various courses and colleges will be issued in due course.

MBBS, BDS

The Commissioner said a separate allotment will be made after receiving the State rank-list from the CBSE after the announcement of the NEET UG examination held on May 5 for admission to the MBBS and BDS courses in the country.

Mr. Mavoji said the admission procedures for MBBS and BDS will be completed as per the norms and time frame prescribed by the Medical Council of India.
