The Dairy Development Department in association with the diary co-operative societies will organise the district-level dairy festival in Adimaly on March 2 and 3.

A seminar will be held on cattle grass cultivation and treatment on March 2, said Ksheera Sangamam committee chairman C.V. Vatsalan. The eminent dairy farmer will be given reception in connection with the Ksheera Sangamom (dairy meet) to be held on March 12. The dairy farmer (both male and female) who supplied the highest quantity of milk in the district will also be accorded reception.

A cattle exhibition will be held on March 3 and it is expected that about 3,000 people from the 181 co-operative societies will attend the programme, which is being organised with the support of Ksheerolpathaka Union, Ernakulam region, Kerala Livestock Development Board and Kerala Feeds, said the organisers.
